Restaurant stock valuation dashboard

Restaurant stock valuation dashboard for hospitality operators.

Turn counted quantities and unit prices into a clear view of stock value by venue.

Calculate value on a consistent unit basis

Quantity multiplied by unit cost produces line stock value. A case price cannot be multiplied by a bottle quantity without conversion. Keep unit definitions consistent so the dashboard reflects the value of the stock that was actually counted.

Review value and units separately

A low-unit premium spirit can represent more value than a large quantity of lower-priced beer. View both measures before deciding where to focus the count or reorder review. Supplier percentages must identify whether their denominator is stock value or units.

Compare like-for-like counting dates

Month-to-month stock changes are useful only when counting dates and venue scopes are comparable. A delivery immediately before a count can increase value without indicating slow sales. Review receipts alongside counts to explain the movement.

Questions

What operators usually ask.

Is stock value the same as monthly purchasing spend?

No. Stock value describes inventory on hand; purchase spend describes invoices in a period. They answer different management questions.

How can we review this with our own venue workflow?
