Hospitality service-charge reporting

Hospitality service-charge reporting for hospitality operators.

Follow employee service-charge distribution from submitted venue sales with a configurable distribution percentage.

Use the agreed revenue basis

Hosporiq Core uses submitted revenue multiplied by 9.9%, then by the approved employee distribution percentage. For example, AED 1,000 multiplied by 9.9% and 20% produces AED 19.80. This is a configured management formula, not a claim about statutory accounting treatment.

Control the percentage rather than re-entering daily amounts

The distribution percentage can differ between hospitality groups and venues. An approved month-specific percentage takes priority over venue and group defaults. HR submits percentage changes explicitly; daily sales changes can update the calculation without daily payroll reposting.

Keep the pool out of salary uploads

Employee intake supplies salary amounts. The service-charge pool is calculated separately to avoid counting it twice. Individual allocations are optional and do not replace the venue-level cost used in P&L. Confirm the configured policy during onboarding.

Questions

What operators usually ask.

Is the employee share always 20%?

No. Twenty percent is the initial fallback. HR can save venue or group percentages and approve a different percentage for a payroll month.

How can we review this with our own venue workflow?
