Hospitality inventory receipt tracking

Hospitality inventory receipt tracking for hospitality operators.

Record supplier deliveries as stock movements without confusing them with month-end counts.

Capture the delivery with its commercial references

Supplier name, invoice number, receipt date and item quantities help connect a stock receipt to its source document. Store consistent product identities and units so later counts can be reconciled against deliveries rather than guessed from a supplier total.

Keep receipt value and closing stock distinct

Receipt value describes the delivery. Closing stock value describes what remains at the count. Posting a delivery as if it were a physical count can inflate the closing balance and hide consumption between the two dates.

Review the ledger before inferring consumption

Check opening stock, receipts and closing stock together. Any movement calculation must also account for its supported adjustments. Do not claim POS-level item consumption or automatic transfer posting unless those integrations have been explicitly configured and verified.

Questions

What operators usually ask.

Do receipts automatically update Admin P&L?

Alcohol receipts currently feed the inventory ledger in Core. Their financial treatment is separate from the Admin purchase-cost mapping.
